No Regrets

Here are some story ideas I had as a kid:


-A lonely knight does battle in a land strewn with millions of severed tongues.  (presence of Evil Witch)

-Three monks in the spirit shapes of giant insects journey down a river through an enchanted forest.

-A hapless stranger winds up in a desolate motel where the other "guests" turn into giant flesh eating bedbugs at night.  (called Bed Bug Hotel)

-Harold (recurring character) dies and watches from heaven as his wife remarries.  Eventually, the wife and her new husband also die- trouble ensues in the afterlife.

-Harold meets his doppelganger.

-Harold is witness to a terrifying demonic force while attending church one day.

-An alien spacecraft manifests itself through a glass of milk to the surprise of a confused farmer who has just sat down to breakfast.  (I might rewrite this)

-Discarded edibles from a fast food joint make a break for it and try to escape their fate.  They are eventually saved by a flying drumstick wearing a cape.  (Self-published)

-A recently deceased girl is denied entry into the Underworld for she has not the fare to cross the river Styx.   Hades feels pity when he hears her sorrowful weeping and turns her into a willow tree.  (Corresponding map)

-A morbid and dramatic tale in which all my family members die in horrible freak accidents. (I live)
